Barry Goldwater Scholarship
The Barry Goldwater Scholarship supports outstanding U.S. undergraduates who plan to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering. Established by Congress in 1986 to honor Senator Barry Goldwater’s lifetime of service, the award recognizes academic excellence and a commitment to discovery.
Nomination Process
Each fall, departments may nominate one student for consideration, with the School of Engineering able to advance up to two school-wide nominations. Students interested in applying should contact their academic administrator for details on deadlines and the nomination process.
