SoE Staff Spotlight: Jenni Clesas, Tata-MIT Alliance

Jenni Clesas has been recognized for her exceptional dedication and resourcefulness as an Administrative Assistant for the Tata-MIT Aliance. She’s the person everyone counts on to make the impossible happen—and she does it with ease and a smile.

She’s proactive, fearless, and always asking the right questions to get the job done. All the while, she keeps the mood light with humor, making everyone feel comfortable and confident in her judgment. Jenni has truly raised the bar for what it means to be an assistant, and her impact on the team is nothing short of amazing.

Describe your role and responsibilities at MIT:
I view my responsibilities as an extension of the people I support; my priority is to proactively remove operational barriers and complete administrative tasks that move initiatives forward. My role ensures faculty can concentrate on research, my executive director and industry partners can focus on the Alliance’s vision, and my teammates feel supported in their respective areas.

What is your favorite part of your job:
Being given the opportunity on a daily basis to connect with some of the greatest minds in science and engineering.

Do you have any hobbies or interests:
If I am not working you will most likely find me doing one of three things, spending time with my two dogs, playing video games, or reading/learning more about ancient history.
