How long have you worked at MIT:
I started as a temp supporting OVC in August 2022, but joined MIT as staff in June 2023.
Describe your role and responsibilities at MIT:
I recently transitioned from HR Coordinator to HR Administrator for IMES. IMES is a diverse department, so I use creativity in finding appropriate appointment types to meet faculty needs. Additionally, I work closely with our DAF to support department operations and create a supportive and inclusive work environment.
What is your favorite part of your job:
I love learning about the research being done within IMES and being a part of that support team. It is always exciting to peruse the MIT Daily and see the name of an IMES researcher.
Do you have any hobbies or interests:
With a young daughter, time for hobbies can be scarce. However, I enjoy spending time with our chickens (10 hens and a rooster) and catching concerts when I can.
