School of Engineering Dean’s Office

How long have you worked at MIT:
I am an MIT boomerang – I worked at the Alumni Association and Resource Development earlier in my career for more than 8 years and returned 4.5 years ago to serve in my current role at the School of Engineering

What is your role and what are your responsibilities at MIT
I oversee all fundraising activities for the School of Engineering, working with a team of fundraisers in collaboration with the Dean, department heads and faculty members.  We partner closely with Resource Development and the Alumni Association to advance the fundraising priorities of the School and DLCs.

What is your favorite part of your job
In a word, the people – whether it’s the students, faculty and staff in our immediate community, or our alumni and friends who are deeply passionate about MIT and its impact on the world. I feel deeply honored to be a part of this community!

Do you have any hobbies or interests:
When I’m not coaching my son in baseball or volunteering with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop, I’m running marathons.  This is my 26th year running the Boston Marathon to support cancer research at Dana-Farber.
