Aren Ghazarians has been recognized for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the SCM Master’s program and CTL. He’s the person everyone relies on to connect teams, support students and advisors, and keep things running smoothly.This year, he took on the huge responsibility of managing the entire SCM capstone program, coordinating across all stakeholders and making the process more efficient and impactful. He’s also expanded company partnerships and strengthened existing ones, setting the program up for continued success. On top of that, he’s stepped in to support events, SCALE activities, and admissions while a colleague is on leave. Aren goes above and beyond in every role he takes on, and his contributions make a lasting difference for SCM, CTL, and MIT.

Describe your role and responsibilities at MIT:
In my current position, I have an opportunity to be involved in various components of our program. One of my primary responsibilities is managing our departments student capstone projects. I work directly with our partner companies, securing projects and providing our students an opportunity to work closely with professionals on a challenging supply chain problem.
What is your favorite part of your job:
Working at the Supply Chain Management program, I get the chance to learn about the developments within the field alongside our students through their capstone projects. Having an opportunity to see our students bring new insights and apply their learnings to current real supply chain challenges is definitely the best part of my job.
Do you have any hobbies or interests:
I have always enjoyed traveling, having visited more countries than states at this point. Trying to share this passion with my 3 daughters who are always asking when our next trip will be.
