School of Engineering and Schwarzman College of Computing Advanced Degree Ceremony

Graduates of master’s and doctoral programs through the MIT School of Engineering and Schwarzman College of Computing will be recognized during an in-person, school/college-specific ceremony. Those receiving master’s and doctoral degrees will be eligible to receive up to four (4) guest tickets for the School of Engineering and Schwarzman College of Computing Advanced Degree Ceremony on Briggs Field. Honoring graduates of master’s and doctoral programs in the MIT School of Engineering and Schwarzman College of Computing

Inaugural speaker: Dario Gil Phd ’03, Senior Vice President and Director of Research at IBM

Date: Thursday, May 26, 2022
LocationBriggs Field
Time: 1:00pm – 3:30pm
Lunch will be provided from 11:30am – 12:30pm

  • Graduates, 11:30am, line up at Briggs Field
  • Guests arrive between 12:00 – 1:00PM, four (4) tickets per graduate.
  • A ticket is required for all those ages three (3) and older. Babies and children ages two (2) and under do not need tickets.

Graduates will be invited by their home departments or programs for program-specific receptions and celebrations. Please contact the individual program director or department for more information about the time and location for these events.
