Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Dana Weinstein joined EECS as an assistant professor in September 2009, and is a member of the Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL). Professor Weinstein received her PhD in Applied Physics in 2009, working in the OxideMEMS Lab at Cornell University. She received a B.A. in Physics from UC Berkeley in 2004 and an M.S. in Applied Physics at Cornell. Dr. Weiss received the Roger A. Haken Best Student Paper award at IEDM 2007. Her research is in novel MEMS/NEMS devices, including work on solid state acoustic resonators that can be integrated with CMOS integrated circuits, with applications to low power RF communications, sensing, and signal processing.
